Do you like the work we’re doing?

Would you like something like London Feminist Book Club CIC in your workplace?

If you’ve been thinking of setting a workplace book club up, but not quite sure how, we’d love to hear from you.

We would love to chat with you to create a bespoke plan for your organisation.

Law Business Research

When we started the book club, we always had a vision of incorporating the meet-ups that we have out of work time, for businesses during their work hours. We wanted to create bespoke packages for employers, so that they can get the most out of it for their employees. So we were thrilled when Law Business Research got in touch and asked for an in-house book club.

The book club members spent the evening with us discussing ‘The Vanishing Half’ by Brit Bennett - covering themes, sharing personal points of view and recommending other books if they were a fan of the title.

Inspire at IG Group

Our second corporate event was with the women’s network at the IG Group. As mentioned above, we have promised ourselves to create bespoke packages which work for all employers. So, our second event was a little different…

The team at the IG Group went for an afternoon of creative writing, with a visit from one of our favourite writer, Ilona Bannister, author of ‘Little Prisons.’

We had the whole afternoon with the women’s network and we split in into 3 sections:

  1. A conversation around literature, what it means to us, and how it positively impacts our mental health and wellbeing

  2. Tipping our toes into creative writing

  3. A Q&A with ‘Little Prisons’ author, Ilona Bannister

We were over the moon with the feedback, which included:

  • All attendees (100%) rating the event as excellent

  • One employee saying, “I found it very inspiring, this event made my week”

  • Senior Product Manager, Maggie Lighezzolo, saying, “"Really can’t thank you and Ilona enough for curating and facilitating such an engaging event. Over the last couple days, I’ve had numerous women come up and thank me, highlighting it’s been one of the best events the network has done. So honestly, massive thank you!"
