Our Charity
We are thrilled our first charity partnership is with the incredible Beyond the Streets.
Beyond the Streets are a charity who work with women involved in the UK sex industry. They collaborate to ensure women are not compelled to sell sex, creating routes for women to exit safely.
Alongside supporting the women, they aim to challenge the stigma surrounding the sale of sex, to eliminate “survival sex” and more broadly to end violence against women and girls (VAWG).
To start our partnership with a bang, we hosted a digital raffle, offering five bundles of brand-new mystery reads to five lucky winners. We were over the moon to have raised over £300, with all donations going directly to Beyond the Streets.
We will also be joining Beyond the Streets on a private Whitechapel Women tour in February, a walking tour about the five women who were killed in 1888 by an unknown murderer, an individual who is widely referred to as “Jack the Ripper.”
We plan to run more initiatives and competitions throughout the year, so there will be plenty of ways you can help up support the fantastic work the charity does to support women to exit selling sex safely.
